Dopo la pandemia del 2020, nuove idee e valori sono apparsi all’orizzonte. Il cuore della nuova era batte al ritmo di un’avanguardia di umanisti, le persone proattive e resilienti che si elevano per vedere sempre più lontano e poi saltare e balzare in avanti. Il loro rappresentante di spicco è l’Homo Solidalis, che comprende sia uomini che donne che vivono nel paese utopico dell’Umanesimo Economico, sul cui ritratto, qui abbozzato a grandi linee, torneremo più volte.
L’Homo Solidalis è Civis, ovvero dotato di un senso di comunità e di un impegno a costruire una cooperazione per estendere gli interessi oltre quelli personali. È anche Homo Socialis, dedicato a prendersi cura dei bisogni sociali fondamentali e a riconoscere il loro ruolo vitale nel benessere e nello sviluppo psicologico.
Chi non riesce a vedere con gli occhi di un bambino rifugge l’Homo Solidalis. Le visioni dell’Homo Solidalis, come direbbe lo scrittore russo Vladimir Nabokov (1899-1977), sono rotonde come l’universo o gli occhi di un bambino al suo primo spettacolo circense. Alla ricerca di qualcosa di inaspettato, l’apertura mentale dell’Homo Solidalis è al massimo e l’abitudine è eliminata. Gli umani che non abbandonarono la consuetudine rimasero cavernicoli.

In the aftermath of the 2020 pandemic, new ideas and values have appeared on the horizon. The heart of the new era beats to the rhythm of an avant-garde of humanists – the proactive and resilient persons who rise to see farther and further and then jump and leap forward. Their prominent representative is the Homo Solidalis – encompassing both males and females living in the utopian country of Economic Humanism – on whose portrait, here sketched in broad outline, we will return several times.
Homo Solidalis is Civis – that is, bestowed with a sense of community and a commitment to building cooperation to extend interests beyond personal ones. Homo Socialis, on the other hand, since dedicated to looking after fundamental social needs and recognizing their vital role in well-being and psychological development.
Those who cannot see with the eyes of a child shun Homo Solidalis. The visions of Homo Solidalis, as the Russian writer Vladimir Nabokov (1899-1977) would say, are round like the universe or the eyes of a child at their first circus show. In search of something unexpected, the open-mindedness of Homo Solidalis is at its maximum and habit is eliminated. Humans who did not abandon habit remained cavemen.
